Anybody wanting to support the club as a RIB Driver and has not already completed a Yachting NZ Rib course, must attend this course, as this is a Health & Safety requirement. All Senior Centreboard Sailors will be required to attend as everyone will be on the roster at some point. Trailer yacht sailors are also encouraged to attend as your ongoing support of regattas is much appreciated. Further more RIB crew are also welcome to attend or anyone that may want to drive a RIB in the future.
There will be a theory session to start with, followed by a practical session on the ribs. If time allows anyone wanting coaching on how to back a trailer will also been given. Minimum Age - 15 years.
